DEVO life:
A few weeks ago i went the first time to the so called “Thai-Park” its a little park in Wilmersdorf where a huge Thai community meets up every sunday to hang out and cook amazing food right in front of you on the grass. Most authentic thai food you can get in Berlin! Usually about 5€/dish. Ask for less spicy unless your crazy… And try the Thai Ice Tea. Mmmh! Delicious! Preußenpark, Berlin-Wilmersdorf Map.

This weekend there’s a concept restaurant on Mulakstrasse in Mitte, Sounds nice. Students from Bankok serve some special Thay food. You have to make a reservation by email. More Info.

One of my idols. Mark Ronsons new video “Bang Bang Bang” from his upcoming album “Record Collection”.
Starting this Friday June 11th, Adidas & Bar 25 are screening the World Cup next to Bar 25, Holzmarktstrasse 24, Berlin. Daily from noon until midnight. As in 2008, again they made some nice keychain, that functions as a member card.

Tonight’s the opening reception for the Bruce Nauman Exhibition at Hamburger Bahnhof. Starting at 8 pm. Normally they don’t ask for an invitation. Recaption speak by Eissenhauer CEO SMBB, Kittelma Director Nationalgalerie and Blume, Curator of the exhibition.

Finally. I wanted to have those delicious baked potatoes again ever since i had them at the “test cooking” at appartement two month ago. So this friday Daniel Bixel and his friends opening up their diner in the formal BLESS store on Mulackstrasse 38, Berlin-Mitte . Expect an all black interior design, hand made by the guys them self. Support, support, support!

The Blockparty on Torstrasse yesterday turned out to be an amazing event. Adidas joined with bunch of stores and people around the 74-store. Ice cream, cotton candy, free drinks and Berlins notorious DJs played till the cops came… I have to give a lot of props to the people behind the Adidas PR, they know how to do a “corporate” event that doesn’t feel like one. I always liked the happenings they where doing in NY like the adidas fanatic cup. I really hope adidas doesn’t cut on that budget in the future.
